The Background

Transformation principal with 25+ years in UK telecoms and managed IT - operating at Board and ExCo level, under PE ownership, in environments where outcomes directly affect enterprise value.

That career progressed from technical roots across Vodafone, O2, T-Mobile, Cable & Wireless and Ericsson into senior programme and strategic leadership at TalkTalk Group — where John led the copper-to-fibre migration programme, the business de-merger supporting a major telecoms sale, and strategic supplier partnerships underpinning £15m+ of annual fibre revenue.

John is currently principal at MigrateD, leading a managed transformation engagement at a PE-backed MSP and Data Centre business with Board-level reporting and direct engagement with the executive and deal team.

MigrateD was founded on a simple observation: the most valuable transformation work happens in the period immediately before a transaction — and most businesses don't have the right capability in place to do it well.
